TOFAS is a global online assessment test taken in a growing number of countries.
Because of its international presence, it facilitates a global comparison for students and educational institutions – valuable insight in the age of globalization.
It is designed to help educators, parents, and students by measuring Fundamental Academic Skills, the building blocks of learning. The tests yield valuable insight into a student's academic skills and – because they are taken online around the world – provide the basis for global ranking.
A successful education – and a successful future – is built on Fundamental Academic Skills (FAS). They are the basic skills required to do well in school. Mastering FAS enables students to achieve their full academic potential and, ultimately, a highly successful future.
TOFAS currently focuses on two FAS: calculation, and programming.
The tests are taken online through a browser. After registering, all that's needed is a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone; internet access; and an email address.

TOFAS is available in a range of languages, allowing test takers to choose the one best suited to them.
TOFAS makes educators more aware of their students' needs – and allows parents to provide the ideal educational support – facilitating both academic and personal growth.
Classroom evaluation does not allow a global ranking; however, because TOFAS is taken around the world, a student's performance – and school curricula – can be seen from a global perspective.

This test assesses the retention of basic units generally studied in elementary and junior high school.
There are nine test levels.
Exam duration:
40 mins
Required items:
Computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone; an internet connection; and e-mail with examination information.

A digital certificate will be issued to applicants who score 80% or higher.
Level 1
Academic Year Contents up to 1st* grade.
Addition, Subtraction (2-digit and 1-digit numbers, without carrying or borrowing).
Level 2
Academic Year Contents up to 2nd* grade.
Addition, Subtraction (with carrying and borrowing).
Level 3
Academic Year Contents up to 3rd* grade.
Multiplication, Division.
Level 4
Academic Year Contents up to 4th* grade.
Adding and Subtracting Fractions (proper fractions only), Adding and Subtracting Decimals.
Level 5
Academic Year Contents up to 5th* grade.
Adding and Subtracting Fractions (including improper fractions and mixed numbers), Order of Operations.
Level 6
Academic Year Contents up to 6th* grade.
Multiplying and Dividing Fractions & Decimals (including common denominators and reducing fractions).
Level 7
Academic Year Contents up to 7th* grade.
Positive & Negative Numbers, Algebraic Expressions, Linear Equations.
Level 8
Academic Year Contents up to 8th* grade.
Polynomials, Systems of Equations.
Level 9
Academic Year Contents up to 9th* grade.
